Science City - Grand Opening
Saturday, March 5

Our new permanent exhibit, Science City, is filled with many interactive experiences and opportunities for children to think like scientists!
New science discoveries will include:
• Test your building skills by designing structures that withstand the forces of nature
• Make electrifying discoveries as you investigate the science behind circuits
• Race to the finish as you experiment with aerodynamics and momentum in our race track exhibit
Exhibit included with $7 Museum admission.
Little Daily Planner’s Mondays at the Museum

Pint-Sized Science (Ages 4-6 yrs)
Every Wednesday

Pint-Sized Science introduces your budding scientists to basic science concepts. Every month we’ll explore a different theme such as weather, animals, reactions, nutrition and many more. Free with museum admission.
March Theme: “Motley Science” - This month, we’ll explore several different areas of science. (24 Child Maximum, Ages 4-6. First Come, First Served.)
3/2 Baby Diaper Science: Experiment with different states of matter and test the superabsorbent polymers inside of a baby’s diaper.
3/9 Bubble Trouble: Learn about what makes a bubble a bubble and why bubbles are not always round.
3/16 Electrifying Science: Participate in hair raising investigations. Become human circuits, human static generators and make and take home static electricity toy.
3/23 Under Pressure: Safely discover the explosive uses of carbon dioxide by blowing off lids, squishing marshmallows and more.
3/30 Incredible Insects: Discover what makes an insect incredible. Observe live insects.

Dots and Squiggles is an early childhood program created and taught by experienced early childhood educators. Fun and engaging lessons encourage children to experience a wide variety of activities that incorporate art, sensory exploration, movement, music, story time and dramatic play. The museum offers three floors of interactive play exhibits, including the H-E-B Kids’ Market, a Tot Spot dedicated to infants and toddlers 0-36 months, action-packed PowerBall Hall and weekly science, art and early literacy activities for children ages 0 –10.
