Two grants to medical branch
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston has received $240,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to provide mental-health care to minority students in high school and junior high school using video-conference technology. The William Randolph Hearst Foundation
in New York has awarded the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB)
in Galveston $150,000 to supplement the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fund for Frontera de Salud, which provides primary health care to disadvantaged people.
