    Local Mayors Step Up To Help GRACE
     
    Mayors William Tate, David Kelly and Andy WambsganssBy now, you should have received a letter from the mayors of Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake on behalf of GRACE. Please take a moment, if you haven't already, to read their message about the effect the ecomony is having on local residents as well as GRACE's ability to help.     We'd like to thank Mayors William Tate, David Kelly and Andy Wambsganss for once again stepping up to help the people of their communities.

    Volunteer Dinner Is Tomorrow Night
     
    Thanks A Million!Just a friendly reminder that the GRACE Volunteer Appreciation Dinner is tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Grapevine Concourse. The evening gets underway at 6:30pm.

    GRACE Named "Civic Group of the Year" 
     
    The Civic Group of the Year Award given to GRACEAt the Southlake Chamber of Commerce "Stars of Southlake" Annual Awards Banquet on April 2nd, GRACE received the "Civic Group of the Year" award.
     
    We are honored to receive such recognition. It's nice to know that others in this community believe in the good work being done by the staff and volunteers of GRACE. Thank you!

    Jerome Weilmuenster built a "traveling" award and smaller keepsake awards.A big Thank You goes out to Jerome Weilmuenster of Grapevine for volunteering his time, materials and talents to create our GRACE Mission and Vision in Practice Employee of the Month award!  Jerome kindly responded to our request for someone with woodworking skills to construct the actual awards to be presented to the winners each month, and he did a fantastic job (as you can see!).  We appreciate you, Jerome, and thank you for helping with this project!.
     
    We Need Volunteers To Rock The Vine!
     
    GRACE Rocks the Vine - May 24, 2009 more details to come...stay tuned!
    We are looking for several adult volunteers to help out on May 24th during the 1st Annual GRACE Rocks The Vine. Volunteers get free admission and a special event t-shirt!

    GRACE Resale Welcomes New Managers 
     
    GRACE Resale has two new additions in the managerial ranks. Jana McGlone moves up from Assistant Manager to become the Manager of GRACEful Buys while new edition to the GRACE family, Kim Rockhold takes over the reins at A Touch of GRACE.
