MIDLAND – 350 local Special Olympics Texas athletes are putting some spring into their step for the 2009 Spring Games on April 4. Competitors will gather at Ratliff Stadium, located at N. Grandview Avenue in Odessa, to compete in athletics. Competition kicks off with Opening Ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. Athletes will push their limits and go for the gold. Track events for female athletes and field events for males begin at 10:00 a.m. Track events for males and field events for females take center stage at 1:30 p.m.
