Future Stars Player Clinic 

San Antonio Stars players Dearica Hamby and Sequoia Holmes stopped by the Walzem Family YMCA on Tuesday, May 23 to run some drills with players from the Future Stars league! The Future Stars league is sponsored by IDEA Public Schools.

 

Team Up Challenge: MacTEACH MVP Award 

Silver & Black Give back crowned MacTEACH as the 2016-2017 Team Up Challenge MVP! Their multi-faceted service-learning program incorporated peer tutoring, humanitarian aid, adult technology and English language education, and so much more! MacTEACH received an additional $10,000 grant to provide additional sustainability to their program for future years!

 

Team Up Challenge: Stars Team Up with STRAPS

San Antonio Stars players Sydney Colson, Moriah Jefferson, and Alex Montgomery spent the afternoon at Morgan’s Wonderland to participate in an inclusive wheelchair basketball clinic. Through the Team Up Challenge, athletes from STRAPS Sports are using adaptive sports to promote healthy lifestyles and inclusivity for all.
