Weina Dai Randel is the author of two, critically-acclaimed, historical novels: The Moon In The Palace and The Empress of Bright Moon, stories of Empress Wu, the first and only female ruler in China. Weina, born and raised in China, came to the U.S. when she was 24, with English as her second language. She's been a journalist, magazine editor, and adjunct professor.
