Williamson County Expo Center to Host Special Olympics Equestrian Competition April 2

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) will host 35 athletes for its annual Central Texas Area Equestrian Competition on Saturday, April 2 at the Williamson County Expo Center. The event is free and open to the public. Competition will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

Athletes will compete in one of several disciplines: Drill Tea, Four-Person Team Relay, Working Trails, Western Equitation, Western Riding, Showmanship, English Equitation, Barrel Racing and Dressage.

 

Competitors 12 years and older will be participating to qualify for the statewide competition, which will be held May 19-21 in Bryan.
