Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) announces the opening of the application for the new racial equity grant opportunity on Communities Foundation of Texas website. CFT is offering up to $125,000 in $5,000 grants to up to 25 organizations to promote racial equity in Dallas.
“The racial equity grants from CFT are intended to help organizations facilitate storytelling to help give voice and understanding to marginalized experiences, engage others in looking at racial inequalities locally, contribute to racial healing activities within and across sectors in Dallas, and create and/or implement practical solutions to race-related challenges in Dallas,” said Sarah Cotton Nelson, chief philanthropy officer at Communities Foundation of Texas. “We are looking forward to funding this important work.”
Key dates include:
Applying organizations must have a 501(c)(3) OR faith-based tax-exempt designation from the Internal Revenue Service and have been active for two years as of September 1, 2017.
