February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month! The Battered Women and Children's Shelter
FEBRUARY IS TEEN DATING VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Dating violence is more common than many people think. One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults.
Help us spread awareness and stop dating abuse before it starts!
Each year, Family Violence Prevention Services and the National Council of Jewish Women team up to produce a film contest for San Antonio area high school students. The topic for the 7th Annual San Antonio Youth Film Contest's Can't Beat Love is "Cyberbullying."
Family Violence Prevention Services (FVPS) and The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) will award trophies and money to winners in the Short Film and Special Judges Categories. To highlight the growing issue of Cyberbullying in our schools, homes, and workplaces, it is imperative for the community to come together to support our youth.
The event will take place at Santikos Palladium, located at 17703 W IH-10 West
San Antonio, TX 78257 on February 22, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Admission is free.
