Farewell to a Dear Friend & Wonderful Poet

With heavy heart, we must let people know of the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Solana DeLamant (Sunny).

A gifted and generous woman, Sunny was active in both the literary communities of Houston and Dallas, over a different span of years. When she moved back to Dallas, she joined The Garret's Board of Trustees, organized readings, pursued her Ph.D., and published a collection of her poetry. Sunny was way too young, way too vibrant and spirited.

Services will be this Sunday, January 15th at 2 pm at North Haven Methodist Church on Preston Rd in Dallas.
Special THANKS
