Our Two Remaining VIP Soirée Concerts
Our FIFTH season of Cactus Pear Soirée Specials is underway! Our Sept. 18 house concert was a great success and we now have TWO VIP concerts left. Single tickets to the remaining house concerts are available for purchase. Tickets for the January VIP concerts are $25 per person and include a post-concert dessert reception. The final April house
concert is our usual $75 per person
that includes music, wine, food and great company.

SATURDAY, JAN. 28 at 2pm or
SUNDAY, JAN. 29 at 2pm
featuring "Mozart String Delights"
in conjunction with San Antonio Symphony's Mozart Festival.
Violinists Eric Gratz and Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio, violists Aloysia Friedmann and Bruce Williams are joined by cellist Desmond Hoebig for
a concert of Mozart magic.
Choose your venue: Southwest School of Art, downtown San Antonio on Saturday, OR take a drive to picturesque New Braunfels for our concert at the First United Methodist Church there on Sunday.

SUNDAY, APRIL 2 at 3pm
The Belgian Duo of violinist Jolente De Maeyer and pianist Nikolaas Kende present a concert of Mendelssohn, Schubert and Kreisler in the beautiful Lincoln Heights home of Dr. Jeff Glass overlooking the Quarry golf course.

Season 21: Teasing Out the Future
Stephanie has been busy teasing out next season's line up of musical stars as well as the intricacies of the repertoire she hopes to program
in Season 21.

She already has commitments from cellists Anthony Ross and Beth Rapier as well as an enthusiastic "can't wait to be back" from the renown violist David Harding. After a hiatus of a few years, the fabulous Katarzyna Bryla rejoins Cactus Pear in a different role, as violist, from her usual gig as violinist. And we are excited to have Canadian soprano Erin Cooper Gay and lutist Sylvain Bergeron take the stage with us for the first time. CPMF Ilya Shterenberg is back with his virtuosic clarinet artistry!

Steph will have more on the upcoming season as the weeks role by. She expects to be able to announce the new full season programming and artists at the January "Mozart Festival" concerts. Stay tuned.
Looking Toward the End of the Year
It seems like only yesterday we were listening to the final movement of the Bartók Contrasts that ended the 20th season. As the fall season is speeding
into winter and the year winds down, please keep Cactus Pear in mind for your year-end giving. We will be sending out our appeal after Thanksgiving to ask our friends to once again help strengthen our musical organization as we strive to stay at the highest levels of performance and continue to be able to reach deep into the fabric of San Antonio and our community. Arte és Vida!

We hope to see you in January for one of our
VIP concerts celebrating all things Mozart!
