About the speaker: Rebecca Rodriguez, principal of For the Philanthropist, loves outcomes. As a former fundraiser who was always tasked with raising more money, she noticed a change .... a tipping point back in 2009. Funders were wanting proof of results or outcomes from their investment. It was then she tweaked her career path and dedicated her efforts to learning everything about how one can prove social change and as a result social value. Rodriguez, who has 16 years of experience in the social sector, works with 501(c)3 organizations to ensure sustainability. She advises organizations about outcome and performance management, fundraising, strategic plans and more.
Rodriguez has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She has experience working with a variety of nonprofits ranging from K-12 education, health & human services, performing arts, free enterprise and aging, and has more than 10 years of experience as a fundraiser.
