If current trends continue, one in three black males born today can expect to spend time in prison during his lifetime. What might it look like to dismantle the social and economic structures that facilitate mass incarceration and what Michelle Alexander calls the New Jim Crow?

Creative professionals with substantial projects addressing the intersecting issues of racial justice and mass incarceration are invited  to seek up to $100,000 in support. Learn more.
 

The online application to the Artist as Activist Two Year Fellowship program is now open. See below for details on how to apply. This is the only open call for grant proposals the foundation will announce in 2015.
