Enjoy a day on the greens and a crawfish boil dinner with Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Gulf Coast area at the sixth annual Mulligans & Mudbugs Charity Golf Classic, presented by SGS North America, Inc., on Thursday, April 16 at Kingwood Country Club (1700 Lake Kingwood Trail).
Player check-in and lunch opens at 10:00 a.m. leading up to the 11:30 a.m. shotgun start. The crawfish dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony, raffle and auction at 5:30 p.m.
The entry fee is $200 for a single player and $750 for a foursome; the cost includes a delicious down-home crawfish boil dinner. The tournament will be played in a 4-man scramble format. Golfers will be recognized at an awards ceremony immediately after the Classic.
Proceeds from the tournament support year-round sports training and competition for more than 53,400 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the State of Texas. To date, this annual event has raised more than $277,000 for Special Olympics Texas. As an expression of their thanks, Special Olympics Texas golf athletes will be on the course to putt for each team.
