Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Greater Dallas Area is in need of volunteers for its upcoming Area 10 Spring Games Competition being held Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 at Lovejoy High School. All events are free and open to the public.
There will be over 1,500 Special Olympics athletes competing in track and field events, tennis, and soccer. Volunteers are needed for timing, scorekeeping, staging and escorting athletes and other general event support and assistance. Volunteer roles are not pre-assigned but filled on the as needed basis once you arrive.
Help is critically needed for the following shifts:
Friday PM Shift (April 24) – 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday AM Shift (April 25) – 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Saturday PM Shift (April 25) – 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
