We are pleased to share a brand new website design for Bacon Lee & Associates
Bacon Lee & Assoc.

January, 2015

1.    What was behind the redo?

The team at Bacon Lee & Associates determined that it was time for a fresher look with more emphasis on the outcomes of our work with our clients.  Our previous website was more than seven years old.  Plus, the old website could not be loaded onto several platforms, like mobile phones and I-pads, so it was time for a complete overhaul.

2.    What do you hope to accomplish?

Our new website communicates through its design that we focus on providing our clients a roadmap, guidance, directions and support in order to meet their goals.  We included real client stories of achieving success in capital campaigns, development assessments, and job searches.  The updated photos and ease of moving around the site reflects who we are and our emphasis on the people we serve.  We also tried to share our sense of humor and give potential clients a better idea of who we are as nonprofit professionals.

3.    Why do you love the new site?

The old site took awhile to “load” and that needed to change.  People literally have the world at their fingertips through their mobile devices and it was important to update the site from its old “flash” technology.  We really are happy with the emphasis on our clients, the inclusion of the photos and quotes from people whom we’ve helped achieve their goals.

4.    It looks like it’s way easier to navigate - but what do you think?

We think the pages are easier to navigate and the copy has been trimmed down so that visitors to the new website can quickly find the information they need.  The pages are well defined in that “What We Do” and “Who We Are” tell people exactly where they need to go on the site.  We also added a resume upload feature to better help with our job search work.  People can also sign up for our monthly newsletter that contains informative articles and job postings.

Tell me a little bit about how you are doing? Your success?

Since 2000, when Bacon Lee & Associates was founded, we have helped hundreds of nonprofit clients from small one-person development shops to large universities and health-care providers.  We provide an array of services to help nonprofits including capital campaigns, board training, job searches, development assessments, and strategic planning.  Throughout Texas, our clients know that the work we do is tailored to meet the unique needs of each organization.  That’s 14 years of work that we’re quite proud to have accomplished.
