We Could Never Do It Without You!
Cactus Pear Music Festival

December, 2014

October 2012 Header

We had a day for giving thanks.
We had three for finding great deals.
I guess that means the Season is upon us.

Greetings!

Cactus Pear Music Festival is in the business of making BIG ripples; we like to think of them as WAVES. We hope those waves are walls of music and luxurious sound that travel far and wide, but especially throughout San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country touching the hearts and souls of those who come to our summer festival, our free Young People's Concerts, as well as our intimate house soirées.

YOU on the other hand are the CENTER of support whose ripples fan out in myriad ways allowing us to touch more and more music-lovers and those new to the art and beauty of chamber music. Without your backing, we have no educational outreach and free community concerts; without your support we have no Young Artist Program or free Master Classes; and, without your continued cheering us on with your presence and financial gifts, the ripples needed to carry on our almost 2 decade mission of bringing the best musicians and programming to San Antonio each summer would simply not be. THE RIPPLES YOU MAKE have made all that happen. We can't thank you enough.

We are now into our 19th season: almost all of the i's are dotted, the t's crossed and I have the programming just about locked down (see below for a sneak peek).

As the year is coming to an end, I ask for your continued support of Cactus Pear Music Festival at whatever level you are blessed to contribute. Significant ripples are made even with a pebble. YOU are the reason that CPMF has earned the reputation as the premier summer chamber music festival in the region! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

May the holidays shine brightly for you and your loved ones. And may Cactus Pear continue to stand for excellence and ripple forth in many more ways into your New Year!

Our 12th Full Scholarship
Young Artist Program

Every year, between 3 and 8 young instrumentalists are chosen and awarded FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS for an intensive two-week chamber music and mentoring program.  CPMF is proud to celebrate in 2015 our 12th Young Artist Program.

And a not-to-be-missed 19th Summer Season

Stephanie is finishing up programs now and securing artists for a 19th season of the best in chamber music. We'll be announcing the new season soon! And we're excited to let you know Steph has put together another All-Jewish Composer program: L'Chaim!
