Komen San Antonio is seeking applications for breast cancer screening, treatment,
survivorship and education programs. A Mandatory Grant Writing Workshop takes place on October 8, 2014.
WHAT: Komen San Antonio seeks community-based projects in Bexar County that benefit medically underserved target populations with innovative and collaborative breast cancer programs.
The grant application process is competitive and available funding is based on net revenues from the Komen San Antonio Race for the Cure.
Applications will be accepted for local breast cancer programs beginning
October 9, 2014, for the fiscal year April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2016. Proposals that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” of the Request for Applications (RFA), including breast cancer screening, treatment and education, will be given priority.
A Mandatory Grant Writing Workshop for applicants is scheduled for October 8, 2014. Interested agencies must attend if they are planning to submit a project for consideration.
