Lutheran Social Services of the South (LSS), an organization committed to ending multigenerational child abuse through innovative children’s services, announced the leadership appointment of Jennifer Schattle as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
“Lutheran Social Services of the South is thrilled to have Jennifer join our team,” said Evan Moilan, LSS Chief Mission Officer. “She will use her expertise to help LSS build and expand its communication function, and in turn, advance our mission by reaching more constituents in need of our services.”
In her role as Vice President Marketing and Communications, Schattle will develop, drive and support a wide range of ongoing communications activities including external representation of LSS, brand integration, media relations, crisis preparation and management, and management of collateral production, writing and editing, and social media.
Schattle brings more than 10 years of internal and external communication experience to LSS. She most recently worked for the Lower Colorado River Authority, where she focused on marketing, strategic messaging, employee engagement, media relations, two-way communication and electronic media. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M University.
