The transformation of the Witte Museum’s H-E-B Science Treehouse into the H-E-B Body Adventure Powered by University Health System is about to begin. Starting January 5, 2014 the Treehouse will temporarily close for this amazing renovation. Come visit before this groundbreaking transformation begins. The grand opening for the new adventure is scheduled for May 24, 2014.
Visitors to the H-E-B Body Adventure exhibit will have four floors of fun activities and state-of-the-art interactive adventures featuring themes relating to Health IQ, Empowerment and Wellness including:
South Texas Trailblaze
Cycle through a virtual San Antonio River landscape while raising your heart rate. Watch your on-screen avatar and other riders enjoy a virtual Mission Reach ride.
Pick Up Your Pace
Measure your height and stride, get your personal Energy Score and find out how long it will
take you to walk the entire Riverwalk from the Missions to the Witte.
You Are What You Drink
Choose a drink and begin stepping – see how long it takes to work off those liquid calories.
Get simple tips and helpful ideas on how to transform your favorite meals into healthy dishes with live cooking demonstrations.
Toddler Discovery Garden
Slide, crawl and climb through fruits and vegetables made especially for our youngest visitors,
ages three and under.
