AN EVENING OF CLAY, CHILI & CINEMA

On Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m., friends of The Winston School San Antonio are invited to purchase a student pottery bowl for $15,  participate in the chili judging, then watch student produced music videos and short films.  Proceeds benefit Kitchen on the Street.  The chili contest runs from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. in the WSSA courtyard at 8565 Ewing Halsell.  The film festival is free and begins at 6:30 p.m. in the WSSA gym.  Parking is free.

Students of Jill Ewing, art teacher, have created and fired a variety of beautiful bowls.  Early Act students with the help of sponsor and teacher, Rhonda Green, annually produce the chili contest.  Digital media students of Richard Rodriguez have worked all year to direct and produce their video masterpieces for this year end competition.
