St. Pius X High School senior quarterback Kohl Stewart will be presented with an honorary game jersey on Thursday, Oct. 18 as part of the 2013 American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2013 Under Armour All-America Game.
The 15-20 minute ceremony will take place at noon inside St. Pius X’s Herzstein Gym.
Stewart, a Texas A&M commit, will be one of 90 of the nation’s top high school seniors spotlighted at the sixth annual Under Armour Game. The game last season, played Jan. 5 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., after practices at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., featured former NFL head coaches Steve Mariucci and Herm Edwards in addition to 10 of the top 12 players in the final ESPN 150.
In addition to Stewart, St. Pius football will be represented at the 2013 Under Armour All-America Game by head coach Blake Ware. Ware was selected as one of 16 coaches for the prestigious competition.
