Help Get Children on the 2012 Agenda
Do you wish candidates for office would focus more on the issues that matter to children and families? Most Americans do, according to polls, and so do we.
That's why, in the lead-up to the elections we are partnering with national and state groups to help get kids on the 2012 agenda. Here are three ways you can get involved.
Join DebateWatch 2012:
We are partnering with the First Focus Campaign for Children and MomsRising.org for this conversation on Twitter following tonight's presidential debate, as well as debates on Oct. 11th and 16th. You can, too! Simply tune in for the debates from 8:00 - 9:30 p.m., then at 9:30, join us (@putkids1st) and other Americans nationwide in a Twitter discussion about what you heard regarding kids' issues. Search and use the hashtag #Kids2012. Including #Kids2012 in your tweets is a way to make sure everyone gets your message.
