Volunteers Needed for 2012 U.S. Women’s Mid-Am Golf Championship

San Antonio Sports needs volunteers for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Mid-Am Golf Championship. The championship will take place Oct. 3 -11 at Briggs Ranch Golf Club. All volunteers who complete two or more full shifts totaling at least 12 hours will receive one free round of golf at Briggs Ranch Golf Club. This is the first national championship to be conducted at the club.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and attend at least one volunteer orientation session on Sept. 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. or Sept. 13 from 2 - 4 p.m. Volunteers must purchase a volunteer uniform which includes a golf shirt and hat for $40.00 plus processing fees.
Volunteers at the event will receive a complimentary breakfast or lunch, depending upon shifts volunteered, as well as drinks and snacks throughout the day. Free parking and shuttle service will be available as well.
