Concerts in the Garden: final week!
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra

Described as “Fort Worth’s best seasonal outing!” (Star-Telegram), the annual Concerts in the Garden outdoor music festival runs through July 4 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The series offers music for every taste, including rock, Latin and classical. Tickets start at $16 (advance lawn) and are on sale at 817-665-6000 and www.fwsymphony.org<http://www.fwsymphony.org>.


Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and performances begin at 8:15 p.m. The remaining concerts are this Friday and Saturday, and Monday, July 2 through Wednesday, July 4. July 2 through July 4 performances include expanded fireworks shows!

TITO PUENTE JR.
The son of legendary mambo king Tito Puente is keeping the tradition alive. Percussionist Tito Puente Jr. and his band can do it all: Tito Sr.’s classics, as well as more modern spins on Latin jazz and salsa. It’s a hot, high-voltage show that will have everyone dancing.

CLASSICAL MYSTERY TOUR

Penny Lane with live trumpets. Yesterday with a string quartet. Experience the timeless hits of the Fab Four in orchestral arrangements played by the full Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Classical Mystery Tour’s stand-ins for John, Paul, George and Ringo bring the sound and the look, earning them wide recognition as the best Beatles tribute anywhere.
