The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas next month, as part of the 67th annual national conference of the League of American Orchestras. Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya leads a program that features violin virtuoso Chee-Yun and includes works by Jennifer Higdon and Kevin Puts, two recent Pulitzer Prize winners who have served as FWSO composers-in-residence.
The program is a showcase for our music director, the quality of our musicians, and our support for new music. Leaders of more than 200 orchestras from around the nation are expected to attend the conference. The public is welcome at this concert, too.
WHEN/WHERE: 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at the Meyerson Symphony Center
TICKETS: $45-$71, available at 817-665-6000 or at the concert
