The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra announces a one-night-only special addition to the 2011-2012 season: A screening of the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, with the orchestra performing the score live!

The complete film "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," starring Johnny Depp as the unforgettable Jack Sparrow, will be projected on a large screen above the stage. The actors’ performances and other sound effects can still be heard, but the music track (the popular score by Klaus Badelt) is carefully edited out so that it can be played live by the orchestra. (Note: This film is rated PG-13.)
