Judge Robert Herrera, Associate Judge of the Juvenile Mental Health Docket
Janie Metzinger, Public Policy Director, Mental Health America of Greater Dallas
Judge Robert Herrera has practiced trial law for over twenty-eight years and serves as an Associate Judge for the Juvenile District Courts in addition to the Truancy and Class C Enforcement Center, and the Mental Illness Court. Janie Metzinger monitors mental health policy issues at the federal, state and local levels and provides legislative updates and training for local advocates and works with other collaborative efforts in the community related to mental health and substance abuse treatment.
