Easter eggsMarch 10, Singles Service Project stuffing Easter eggs for Easter at the Park and the Palm Sunday egg hunts at the Gethsemane and Westheimer campuses. Meet in R23 at 9 a.m. For information, contact Susan Silvus.

  

Children's Ministries is accepting donations for our annual Palm Sunday Egg Hunts. Please bring: new plastic eggs, bags of candy (no chocolate or nuts, please), small egg-sized trinkets and stickers. Collection boxes at the Westheimer Campus will be in the Activities Center foyer and church office during the week, and at the Connection Center on Sundays. At the Gehsemane Campus, collection boxes are located in the Narthex and in the Education Bldg. If you are able to help stuff the eggs, contact Kim Davis at  713-402-5044, or contact Amy Kelley at 713-357-4464. Volunteers will also be stuffing eggs on March 25 at noon in the Children's Wing (Gethsemane Campus.)

March 10, Mainstreamers will attend AD Players production of Whatever Happened to the Villa Real? written by Jeannette Clift George. 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Lunch at Corner Bakery before the matinee performance. For reservations call Kathy Neely, 713-420-5139.

  

March 11,  Little Leprechauns Playdate for 2 and 3 year old Sunday School children and their families will gather on the playground at 10:45 a.m.  for lunch, activities and four-leaf-clover fun. Cost is $5 per person ($20 family maximum). RSVP by March 8 to Kim Davis at 713-402-5044.       


March 11, Young Adults go to lunch at Taco Milagro (2555 Kirby Dr.) following the 11 a.m. service. If you haven't been to Luminous, our Young Adults Sunday School class,you can meet us after the 11 a.m. service at the Connection Center to carpool or follow us there.

 

March 16, St. Luke's Friday Night Dance, 7-10 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the Westheimer Campus with That Country Band playing. $15 admission includes appetizers.

 

March 15, Mainstreamer's Day, Jeanette Lazarofsky, Certified Laughter Leader of "Laugh A Lot Friends." will present the program in the Parlor at 11a.m. followed by lunch ($10) at noon. Call Kathy Neely, 713-402-5139, for reservations.  

March 18, The Bridges Academy annual fundraiser features Susanne Mentzer, Mezzo-soprano, in recital accompanied by Keith Weber at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Tickets are $20 and proceeds benefit Bridges' outreach program and scholarship fund. A silent auction will feature tickets to great Houston Arts events.  

 

Lenten Concert Series   takes place every Thursday at noon in the Chapel (unless otherwise noted), through April 5. A complete schedule is available online.
