Dr. Ellen F. Davis5th Sunday Speaker - October 30  

Ellen F. Davis, author and professor at Duke University Divinity School, will speak at an all-church Sunday School gathering at 9:30 a.m. at the Gethsemane Campus. Dr. Davis will be speaking about inter-religious dialogue with an emphasis on Christian and Muslim conversation.

Fall Festival 

October 30, The Fall Festival at St. Luke's Gethsemane Campus is an opportunity for the entire church family to welcome the community to join us for hot dogs, games, activities, prizes," trunk or treat," face painting and fellowship from from12:30-2:30 p.m. (Please note that this event was previously scheduled for Saturday, October 29).


Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, games and activities.  Contact Lynda .  


Candy donations are appreciated as well. Drop off at the Gethsemane office or Westheimer's Outreach office by Monday, October 24.

Pure Sound Pumpkin Patch will run through October 31. Hours of operation are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. A portion of all proceeds benefits Pure Sound's tour fund this December to Cuba.



October 27, Fall Educational Forum - Learn strategies for healthy aging and factors that in  increase risk for Alzheimer's and dementia.  Amazing Place, 3735 Drexel Drive from 6-8:30 p.m.
