On Wednesday, December 7, 2011, MLAC will conduct a Flying WILD professional development workshop for K-12 educators.
Flying WILD, a program of the Council for Environmental Education, is an environmental education curriculum that introduces students to bird conservation through standards-based classroom activities and environmental stewardship projects. In this workshop, you will learn about why birds are an ideal vehicle to teach many science concepts, how to implement some of activities in your classrooms and centers, and have a ton of fun!
You will receive a Flying WILD Educators Guide. Formal K-12 Educators will also receive 6 TEEAC and CEU credits!
