E-bulletin for June 29, 2011

The Spire is “on vacation” and will return on August 5.

Sermon Series

Join us on Sundays as we study Revelation in a sermon series entitled The Glimpse: A Journey Through the Revelation to John. We will consider together the record of John’s vision, recorded in the last book of the Bible. It is packed with powerful imagery and riveting drama, and has important messages for Christians today.

Out of town? Sermons are available online.

Things to do in July

Join College Chorale and sing for the 9:45 a.m. worship service in the Sanctuary during the month of July. To participate, show up in the Choir room at 9:15 a.m., dressed in your Sunday finest. The music is easy to learn, and after warming up together, you'll be ready to sing in worship.

July 3:

·         The Sojourners Sunday School class will join the Goodwill Class in the Rotunda at 9:45 a.m., to celebrate the 4th of July by looking at the enormous role that God played in the building and founding of America. All are welcome to join the celebration.

·         There will be NO CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL at either campus. The nursery (and childcare) WILL be open from 8:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

July 4, Church offices will be closed

Contact Marci Pampe at 713-357-4466 or mpampe@stlukes-hou.org if you would like to join the group.
