Texans Care for Children
KidsWell Texas
A Healthy Texas Future
For over a decade now, Texas has been the state with the nation's highest rate of uninsured children. KidsWell Texas, a new grassroots movement, aims to change that. By bringing Texans across the state together, the hope is that all children can have what they need to grow up strong.

Texans Care for Children is part of KidsWell Texas, and we hope you will join us. KidsWell Texas:
  • gets Texans talking about state priorities and each person's role in promoting change;
  • brings together families who care about healthy starts for children to raise their voices along with other concerned Texans;
  • stands up for the next generation in our ongoing state budget debate, so it doesn’t become even harder for kids in Texas to grow up healthy; and
  • visits communities statewide to raise awareness, meet with local families, and get them engaged in the campaign to bring real change for Texas.
To learn more, visit the KidsWell Texas website, and check out the publication released today (PDF format): " Texans Have Priorities for Our State."
