GRACEful Buys Gets New Home On The Web!
Thanks to Carita Weaver and the great people over at i5 web works
, GRACEful Buys now has its own corner of the internet. The new site, at www.gracefulbuys.com
, launched last week and is a truly awesome representation of the new look and branding of the store that was put in place in spring of 2010.
The site gives the store a better opportunity to reach those searching for great prices for clothing, furniture, home décor and electronics. It also gives web surfers faster access to information about the store and its weekly specials.
Congratulations to Debbie Haley and the staff at GRACEful Buys for getting this important addition to their marketing and branding arsenal.
GCISD Holds "Stuff the Bus for GRACE" Drive
Between March 21 and 31, all 17 schools in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District participated in a food drive called, "Stuff the Bus for GRACE." The goal of the drive was to collect as many items from the GRACE Food Pantry's needs list as possible.
On Friday, April 1, two large buses arrived at the pantry filled with goodies! Volunteers, teachers, and administrative staff arrived with the buses to help unload the ample bounty. Once completed, the unloaded items filled five large carts and totaled 5,000 items! Among the donations were cereal, macaroni and cheese, pudding, juice drinks, oatmeal packs, canned meats, shampoo, diapers, and much more. More than half of the items will help with the new program that supplies the children of low-income families with a backpack of food for the weekend.
Pantry Manager, Rusty Thigpen, would like to express his appreciation to the school district for their continued support of the GRACE Food Pantry.
