Jade Buddha Temple

6:00pm to 8:30pm

  

Members of Houston's Jada Buddha Temple will share a brief 30 to 45 minute educational presentation on their beliefs and practices. Following the presentation attendees will share a vegetarian meal and participate in small group discussions.

Join Interfaith Ministries and the Houston Arts Alliance for OnSite/InSight, a series of visits to Houston area faith communities. Explore the artistic, cultural, and culinary traditions that make each community unique. Families are welcome.

Interfaith Ministries and The Asian/Pacific American Heritage Association invite you to visit a Buddhist, Hindu, and Muslim faith community! All participants will experience Houston's booming Chinatown as we stop for lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. If you would like to experience Houston's fantastic southwest community, meet new people, and have someone else navigate, this trip is for you!
