    Fr. Crary
    Fr. Crary

The Very Reverend William A. Crary, Jr., SSC of St. Laurence Church will retire the position he's held there for some 24 years on Monday. Fr. Crary and St. Laurence have been great champions of GRACE since our humble beginnings in 1987.

We'd like to thank Fr. Crary for his years of service to this community and his support of GRACE for all these years. We'd like to also wish him well in his retirement.

The elected successor for Fr. Crary is Fr. John Jordan, SSC. We him all the best in his new duties.

GRACE Donation Station - 112 N Scribner in GrapevineThe GRACE Donation Station was blessed with an avalanche of donations during the final weeks of 2010. Now, those donations need to be sorted and distributed, so we're looking for a bunch of folks who can spare some time to come to the Donation Station and do just that.

If you have some available time during the week or on Saturdays, please drop in to the Donation Station at 112 N. Scribner. If you've never volunteered at GRACE before, please contact Jan Smith at jsmith@gracegrapevine.org to get started.

lt to rt: Carita Weaver (i5), Shonda Schaefer (GRACE), Cathy Hernandez (Arts Council), Michael Burns (i5)
Back in September of 2010, we let you know about a promotion that our friends over at i5 web works were running that could result in as much as a $500 donation to GRACE and $500 to Arts Council Northeast. All we had to do is get a bunch of our Facebook friends to visit and "Like" the i5 Facebook page and push it over the 500 "Likes" mark.

And you did it! Well, sort of. While we weren't able to reach the 500 "Likes" plateau, i5 partners Michael Burns and Carita Weaver decided to award the donations anyway! It seems their generosity knows no bounds. In addition to this donation, i5 web works has designed and built the GRACE website, the GRACE Gala website and are working on another new site that will be launching soon! (Stay tuned)
We are very blessed to have folks like Michael and Carita in our corner and can't thank them enough for all they do to support GRACE. Now, if you haven't visited their Facebook page and clicked the "Like" button, show them how much you appreciate their support of GRACE by clicking here and doing so right now!

We need more Tweeps! Our list of Twitter followers is growing, but very slowly. Following our Twitter feed actually helps GRACE save money. The more people we can communicate to without having to incur the expense of paper, toner, envelopes, and postage, the more money we save! So, if you have a Twitter account, be sure to get hooked up with both the regular GRACE Twitter feed and the new GRACEful Buys feed. It only takes a second and convenient links are provided below. Happy Tweeting!
