Greetings for a Blessed New Year
We at Heritage Children wanted to take a moment during this joyous Season to remember all the blessings of this year thanks to our wonderful mentors, volunteers, interns, donors and most importantly our youth. For without all of you we would have no program.
2010 has been a busy year for us with expansion in New Braunfels, new fund raising events – our 5K run/walk. We also have felt the loss of Lil Rios, wife of one of our Board Members, Bobby Rios wife and mother of Alix. We have weathered through all the activities with our youth, celebrated our mentoring relationships at our annual Time of Appreciation. Throughout the good and the mournful we have felt the hand of God in and among us.
We are excited to announce that beginning January 8, 2011 we will be conducting our Transforming Lives Today for Tomorrow’s Purpose curriculum with a group of teenage moms who both them and their babies are together in foster care in New Braunfels.
We have also moved our “corporate” office and are now located within Azaya Therapeutics at 12500 Network Blvd, Ste. 207. Many thank you’s to Azaya for their graciousness in allowing us to be their neighbor. Please make note we also have a new phone number 210-326-1418 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 210-326-1418 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
To better serve ComalCounty, we also now have an office in New Braunfels. Pastor Jay Moeller has also graciously given us space within his church CommunityBibleChurch at 2002 Spur Street. We are housed on the Westside of New Braunfels and have begun making many connections with the at-risk youth in that area.
2011 is already starting off with God’s favor upon us and are youth and we look forward to continuing to update you on all He is doing in and through us.
"The Lord bless you and keep you--the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace." Numb. 6:24-26.
