TEDxSanAntonio Announces Venue and Date
TEDx San Antonio

Trinity University will host the Alamo City's inaugural
TEDxSanAntonio event in its Jane and Arthur Stieren Theater.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 16th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event
will bring together the San Antonio community to hear a series of short lectures,
focusing on the theme "Planting new ideas." Trinity University, an independent,
liberal arts and sciences university, is the lead sponsor of TEDxSanAntonio.
What is TED? At its core, TED brings together the world’s most fascinating
thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives in 18
minutes. The goal is to inspire people to change the world. TED is a small
nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Founded in 1984 as a conference on
Technology, Entertainment, Design, TED is now a global phenomenon with the
annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference
in Oxford UK, plus the award-winning TEDTalks video site http://ted.com
