Dinosaurs continue to roar at the Witte, bringing a record number of visitors to the museum this spring. However, there is much more to see and do at the Witte than the gigantic, lifelike dinos! Check out the 2010 Fiesta exhibition, step back in time with Texas Art: A Sense of History, get hands-on with family activities and don’t miss the H-E-B Science Treehouse. Make sure the events below are on your calendar and get ready for more fun and learning in May.

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Relax in the Witte courtyard. Kids are welcome. The H-E-B Science Treehouse will be open. Food and beverages on sale by TÖST Bistro.

Included with museum admission. Members get in free.

A Night at the Witte: Dinosaurs After Dark
Fridays, June 11 and June 25


Grab a sleeping bag and get ready for a night of exploration, discovering science after dark and visiting the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibition. Spend the night at the Witte and become a paleontologist who unearths the story of dinosaurs through fossils and footprints. The experience includes a dinosaur presentation from "Dinosaur George" Blasing, multiple hands-on activities, an evening snack, a movie and a special Witte Museum patch. Fee is $40 per child (suggested age 9 and up) and $15 per adult (18 and up). For more information and to make reservations call 210.357.1910.

World of Witte Birthday Parties "Always an Adventure"

Come discover dinosaurs for your next birthday party. The Witte Museum is now offering daytime birthday parties on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during June and August. Daytime Birthday Parties include the use of a private room for up to two hours and admission to the Witte Museum and the H-E-B Science Treehouse for all guests to enjoy.
