A Touch of GRACE
Charles Gay Volunteer Charles Gay is a colorful bird from Welsh, Louisiana. After heading south from Champagne, Illinois, Charles came to roost in Trophy Club. Charles is a cashier and brings organizational skills to A Touch of GRACE in timre for the much-anticipated improvements going on this month.
Charles and his wife, Diane have been sweethearts since seventh grade. They winter in Texas and spend summers in Illinois dividing their time between grandchildren north and south. They enjoy weaving, spinning and rug hooking.
Charles retired after 30 years in the medical field. He and his wife ran a fine arts store for several decades in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. His talents and enthusiasm are a welcome edition to the resale team!
Remodel Nears Completion
The new look is coming together.
The work on our Resale building at 418 E. Northwest Highway is nearing completion and the new look is amazing on the inside and outside!
Come by and see us and check out the changes.
This week, we'd like to highlight one of the many businesses that have donated services to help make this remodel a reality. Theresa Blackwell and W2W Painting stepped up and provided the labor to paint the interior of the building and stain the concrete floor! They did awesome work and we are so blessed to have the support of such wonderful people in the local business community.
Be sure to contact W2W Painting for your next painting need! They offer complete painting services including specialty finishes and color consultations. Click here

Hardest Working Moms
Do you know an extraordinary mother who does whatever it takes to care for her family? Does she juggle a career? Is she active in the community? Is she facing personal and/or family challenges?
Well, if you think you know the hardest working mom, please tell us about her!
Nominations are now being accepted for this premier community program being presented by The Mills.
A community-based selection committee will choose as many as ten special women who will then be recognized during Grapevine Mills' "Hardest Working Moms" awards and fashion presentation. Proceeds of the special event slated for May 8, 2010 at Grapevine Mills will benefit GRACE!
To nominate your "Hardest Working Mom," visit www.grapevinemills.com
or call for more information at 972-724-4910. There is no cost to nominate someone. The deadline for nominations is April 5, 2010.
Feinstein Challenge Continues For the 13th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein will divide $1 million among anti hunger agencies nationwide using it as a spur to raise funds during March and April, 2010.
Feinstein's past 12 annual $1 million challenges to fight hunger have raised a record $1 Billion for over 2,000 agencies nationwide, and GRACE supporters have been a part of it. Donations towards this campaign make us all partners in the most successful effort to fight hunger of all times!
"My money started this campaign but it is YOU who will help decide how many needy people in your city or town will be fed this year. All that will matter to us someday is what we did while we were here to help those who needed us...Thank you for sharing my heart, and the hope that - someday - no one will ever go hungry." - Alan Shawn Feinstein
Donations of food items and monetary donations specified "Feinstein" between MARCH 1ST and APRIL 30TH will all go towards the Feinstein Challenge.
