Dear Friends and fellow Journeyers,
Woman at The Well House is experiencing a magnificent growth that is spiritual-embodying and enlarging on its historic role. It is truly happening through the Grace of God and the hard work of many people. We invite you to continue to go forth in this journey whether by giving money or giving of your time as a volunteer (or in both capacities). We shall have much more information in the next email. Keep us in your prayers and thoughts.

Former Resident at Woman at the Well House
There isn't a time when I begin to look back at where and what I come from that I don't get choked up. It's not just the image of old baggage I carry from my past but the amazement of where I am today compared to then. Years of using drugs and alcohol led to a life of crime and eventually to a life of full despair. I was broken and even in my addiction I believed that God could hear the cry of my lost soul. So I called out for His help.
LEADING WOMEN TO A NEW WAY OF LIFE, HOPE & FAITH
It was early August of 2003 when I came to Woman At The Well House and I somehow knew it wasn't by chance that I had heard about the program. I'm told it's called divine intervention and my ability to share my story seems to be the proof. I was eager for change but I wasn't always able to listen. However, after some bumps and bruises along the way I've seen my life unfold into a love story. I fell in love with living and I am now able to love myself.
Because of the tools that I picked up here at the Well House I've been able to go back and seek higher education and receive my associate's degree. Currently I am seeking my bachelor's at the University of the Incarnate Word. I'm at a point in my life where I can honestly say "I'm glad to be here" and truly mean it.

Wednesdays at Well House...
...what started off as a weekly casual lunch with residents and staff has now flourished into a new tradition at Woman at the Well House. Almost every Wednesday for a couple of months now, we have been happy to have Well House friends join us during our weekly lunch.
Wednesdays at Well House has become a blessing to residents, staff and visitors. During this casual setting around the dining room table, we have had the opportunity to laugh, share stories, share advice, recipes and most importantly, share the joy of each other's company.
These weekly lunches gives our visitors the ability to get to know our residents and visit Well House in its true being. We invite you to join us in the many blessings that Well House has to share.
